Highlight to Format

Dashco's post editor now includes a formatting toolbar that appears the moment you highlight text.

To use it:

1. Write or paste your post content
2. Highlight the word, phrase, or sentence you want to format
3. A small toolbar appears above your selection — click the option you want

The toolbar is only there when you need it. Click anywhere else and it disappears.

What You Can Do

Options vary slightly depending on the social network you're posting to, but typically include:

• Bold
• Italic
• Link (paste a URL to link the highlighted text)
• Bullet or numbered list
• Clear formatting

A Note on Social Networks and Formatting

Not every social network supports the same formatting. Some will display your post exactly as written. Others will strip certain styles out. Dashco applies what each network allows.

If a particular style doesn't appear on the published post, the network chose not to display it — your original post in Dashco is unchanged.
